After earning his bachelor's degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin and a Business Foundations Certificate from McCombs School of Business, Cabrero began his professional journey in consumer banking with Wells Fargo Bank.

While working full-time, he pursued his law degree through Texas A&M School of Law's evening program, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the legal profession.

Upon passing the bar exam, Cabrero joined the Law Office of Samuel R. Terry, where he specialized in criminal defense. There, he vigorously defended hundreds of clients' constitutional rights, handling cases ranging from misdemeanors to capital murder. His extensive criminal defense experience includes representing clients in cases involving capital murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated sexual assault, aggravated assault, prostitution, family violence, and DWI.

He has also successfully represented numerous business owners and homeowners in insurance dispute cases involving wrongful denial of claims related to wind, hail, water, and fire damage.

A qualified bilingual mediator, Cabrero is fluent in Spanish and brings extensive experience in mediating personal injury matters and property claims for both homeowners and business owners.
